A Benefit for Local Charities

Stars Fell On Alabama will be a closed event - a "private party/event" at the Island House in 2010. We need to ensure that the SFOA event will not be in violation of any local fire codes or restrictions placed on our use of the tent for music and the Island House.

Our event will still be "open" at the two public venues used for Stars Fell On Alabama - LuLu's and the Flora-Bama. As both of these locations will still be open for their regular business activities and serving their own customers in addition to hosting Stars Fell On Alabama

Schedule of Events

March 3^rd – Wednesday

For The Early Phlock

6:30pm – Meet For Boat Drinks, Sand Bar Lounge, Island House Hotel

March 4^th –Thursday

7am – 10:30am – Breakfast Buffet in the Island Grille $7.95

9am – Goodie Bag Stuffing—Goodie Bag Stuffing in the Meeting Room at the Island House Hotel. We asked everyone that would like to help with the stuffing to please check “YES” on your registration form…you will be contacted with more information.

1pm – 5pm – Registration, West Meeting Room, Island House Hotel

1pm – 5pm – Mini Mart, East Meeting Room, Island House Hotel

1pm – 5pm – Silent Auction Bidding Begins … Come start your bidding…Silent Auction located at the East Meeting Room at the Island House Hotel. On your name tag you will have a number, this number is to be used for bidding during the Auction…CASH OR CHECKS ONLY…Winners will be able to pickup their winnings on Saturday, March 6^th, 2009 between 4pm – 6pm in the Silent Auction area.

All Day … Raffle Tickets (Poolside and at Silent Auction)

The winning tickets will be posted in the lobby of the Island House on Saturday, March 6^th by 8 am. From 8am – 10am…you will pickup your raffle prizes in the Meeting Room behind the front desk…follow the signs…..if you miss these times…you will be able to pickup your raffle prizes at 4pm – 6pm in the Silent Auction area.

Pre-Welcome Poolside & Beach Parties

NO ICE CHEST OR GLASS IN THE POOL AREA!

The Sand Bar Lounge will be open featuring special drink prices.

Come take a “Roll In The Sand” … more info to come your way

1pm –3pm - Brent Burns Poolside @ Island House

3pm – 6pm - Hanna’s Reef Trio Poolside @ Island House

6pm – Buffet/Dinner Plates will be served. As time gets closer we will let everyone know more about food and price.

REMINDER…EVERYONE WILL NEED YOUR NAME TAGS FOR THE PARTY LISTED BELOW… IF YOU ARE A LATE ARRIVAL ON THURSDAY … COME TO THE TABLE LOCATED AT THE FRONT OF THE TENT TO GET A WRISTBAND…

1:30–4:30 pm – Sunny Jim & Jim Morris Poolside @ Island House

1:30-4:30 pm - "The Great Filling Station Holdup” … put your money down on a warrant … cause someone is going to JAIL!

For everyone registered and coming in after 5pm, your wristband will be at the front desk at the Island House with your name.

3pm–5 pm – Registration, West Meeting Room, Island House Hotel

3pm–5 pm - Silent Auction ... the bidding continues

REMINDER … EVERYONE WILL NEED YOUR NAME TAGS FOR ALL THE FOLLOWING EVENTS. DON’T FORGET YOUR NAME NAME TAGS AND YOUR FLORA-BAMA WRISTBANDS!

5pm – 1:30 am - Shuttles to the Flora-Bama and Island House

"Let's Do It On The Line Party" at the Flora-Bama

5:30pm – 8:30 pm - 12-Volt Band

9pm - 12:30am - Jim Morris & the Big Bamboo Band

Remember the Shuttle will stop at 1:30am back at the Island House Hotel.

Limbo and Hula Hoop Contests at Lulu’s … more information to come!

3:30pm – The Unforgettable Bus Trip back to the Island House.
